why does the IDE on startup load all definition-files ?
why does the IDE on startup load all definition-files ?
not new but with the increasing number of compilers more andmore obvious, at startup of the IDE all definition-files are loaded. Couldthis not be limited to the family's covered by that compiler or do you plan to integrate all in the future ?

Hi,
Only specific family mcu should be loaded.
Maybe something was left in the mcu list unintentionally.
Could you send me/post a screen shot of the list?
This should not be the case.jpc wrote:not new but with the increasing number of compilers more andmore obvious, at startup of the IDE all definition-files are loaded. Couldthis not be limited to the family's covered by that compiler or do you plan to integrate all in the future ?

these are onscreen only for a short time but i see loading definition-filers for p16,p18,p24,p30 and p33 in a similar way when starting the Pic32 compiler ( this is not new, becomes simply more visible and i have no idea to what extend this may harm)
