PIC library content

Should the Def folder in the mikroBasic Pro software contain all Microchip models or is there a selection? In particular I'm looking for the P16F505, -506, which are not included. Is an update possible or is there a reason?

Hi,

PIC16F505/506 aren't supported in our PIC compilers.
In our PIC compilers we supported only microcontrollers with 14-bit instruction set,
and if I am not wrong PIC16F505/506 have 12-bit instruction set.

Thanks, Marina, for your quick answer. Meanwhile I had found out also. Unfortunately Microchip don't mention the instruction bit count in the productlist on their website. Best regards.
