New PICs to use

Microchip has released some time ago "Advanced Analog Flash Microcontrollers" - PIC16F1788 & PIC16F1789. They seem to be very nice to use in mixed analog-digital applications. When can they be added do microPascalPRO project wizard?
Regards,
Artur

Those pics are the same at the 16F1782 and 1783, but with more memory. You could use the 1783 if memory space isn't a problem for you.

Hi,

PIC16F1788 and PIC16F1789 will be supported in mikroPascal PRO for PIC as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience.

Best regards,
Marina

What about any update to MikroProg?

Hi,

Support for the PIC16F1788 and PIC16F1789 in mikroProg for PIC is already on our "to do" list,
so the microcontrollers will be support as quickly as possible.

Best regards,
Marina

Great PR, but what does "as soon as possible" mean?

According to the Microchip dastasheet, smaller PICS lack 5-bit DACs which I would like to use :(

Hi,

We are trying to support new microcontrollers as quickly as possible, but sometimes some microcontrollers
need a more time to be supported in our compilers and mikroProg.

Like I mention earlier, PIC16F1788 and PIC16F1789, are already on our "to do" list, so they will be certainly
supported, but I can't make any promise regarding time.

Best regards,
Marina
