mikroprog suite powering board

#1 Post by jpc » 16 Jul 2012 15:29

Mikroprog Suite has an option to power the target, it would be very convenient if the chosen setting would be restored after programming. Currently that power is switched off during programming and remains off afterwards so you must reconfigure the supply-voltage each time and then enable it, fiollowed by a confirmation question. The request is to restore the supplysettings as they were before the programming.
Another improvement ( possibly more difficult) would be to measure the currrent drawn by the target, especially for very low power applications this would be great feature.

Ok, figured out this powering option can be set in the IDE as well , bit confusing but then behaves as i wanted.

Hello,

Yes power option from IDE provide you total control of this option.
The problem that you have faced before is that you have selected one power option from mikroProg Suite and when you invoked it from compiler new power options applied.

It is nice suggestion and improvement. And we will discuss about implementing this feature.

Best regards.
