HID Terminal

#1 Post by jpc » 07 Feb 2012 10:22

it would be useful to limit the input of messages to the maximum length of 64 bytes, HID cannot accept anything longer than this and if we accidentially try to do so the systems hangs

Hello,

I have tried to reproduce it with default UART example and failed.
No matter how long string was, I was able to send and receive it back.

If there is something else that i have to do n order to reproduce it please inform me.

Best regards.

i was suggesting USB HID terminal , not Uart , as the only USB protocol supported is HID which has packetmaximum of 64 bytes i suggested this limit to be part of the HID-tool

Hello,

I apologize, it was a typo.
I meant on default USB example.

OK I will forward this request to our developers, but I have not experienced hanging of HID terminal in this case.

Best regards.
