Porting to a new platform depends more on the Compiler/Tool the program was created. IIRC Mikroelectronika compilers/IDE are developed in Delphi, so it would be some difficult to port to Linux. Maybe porting to Lazarus would be the best choice.

I have created a PIC compiler in Lazarus and I have versions for Windows, Linux, and Mac, and in English, Spanish, German, Rusian, French, and Ukranian.

I have applied to Mikroelectronika but it seems they don't want my help.
