Hello,
I am using PIC18LF26K83 for the first time.
I want to make CAN communication.
There is no problem when I send CAN data to the module. however, there is a strange situation when receiving CAN data from the module.
18F26K83 is sending the ID and I am getting it correctly.
But 8 bytes of data should be zero, but different data is coming.
Attached is the config settings and part of the code.
Please comment on this.
Best Regards,
Murat

Re: 18F26K83 CAN problem
Hi,
does anyone have any ideas about this?
My only problem with this integration is not being able to receive and send CAN data.
ID is working properly.
Best Regards,
Murat

Re: 18F26K83 CAN problem
Anyone using CAN bus with 18F26K83?
Or who is using and able to send/receive correct data?
11/29 bit ID goes right at all speeds.
But the data is not going and coming in any way.

Re: 18F26K83 CAN problem
Hello,
I will shortly check it out and report my findings. If there's a library error indeed, I'll submit the bug report. Otherwise, I'll send you a corrected example.
Thanks for pointing it out and for your patience.

Re: 18F26K83 CAN problem
Hello Darko, Murat,
Today I have exactly the same problem with a PIC18F26K83 and (also PIC18F25K83).
I can't read the content of the CAN frames I receive.
The frames are read, recognized, validated. The identifier is well read, but not the message data.
I just spent 3 full weeks checking everything, and I don't see how to solve this problem.
I also ported my program to another board with a PIC87K22 + CAN SPI Click : and there the data are read.
Did you manage to solve your problem?

Hello,
I saw the message too late.
Unfortunately, there has been no response on this issue.
I also wrote to Mikroe technical support. I could not get an answer.
were you able to find a solution for this?
