12F1840 Need Help. Simple IO

#1 Post by phantom9999 » 20 Jun 2015 05:26

Hey all im trying to get back in the swing of things and having problems.

Im trying to program a new 12F1840 and having problems.. My results are not working properly.

Im using Pic v6.6.1 and Prog Suite v2.32 on a brand new install of Windows 7 64bit.
Using a EasyPIC v7.0 board ( I love this thing )

When i program it i get a error about "Program Fail - Configuration Word"
Not sure what this is also about... Pascal is not a problem the program compiles and evens step by step looks good.. But the programing and end results of the LEDs running when it takes is just not right.

So what im needing is for some help with a simple program that flashes each IO pin and continues in a loop.. What i have is not working at all.. I what this to use the internal OSC (8-16 Mhz) to use all the pins. Also what are the best config settings for the Config Reg project setting.

Once im done with this simple program im looking at making a Battery meter/charge monitor.

Hi,

Please, can you tell me whether you have the same problem with every project?
Whether you tested programming of some other MCU with the mikroProg?
Whether you have some other PIC12F1840 which you can test?

Can you attache here some simple connection schematic so I can see how you connected programmer with the MCU.

Best regards,
Marina
