MP Suite 1.0 beta : Add persistent Status

Can you please add a persistent status reflecting the last program state? Since I'm generally impatient, I pop in the PIC and hit program as soon as the USB is detected (speaker beep) and then turn to do something else. Unfortunately, sometimes if the MCU Info/Config windows are open (still updating the display), the program command will be ignored (race condition) and I come back thinking it has programmed though it hasn't

Or better yet, add some synchronization between the compiler and MP Suite such that hitting program will pop up a dialog and wait for the EasyPIC to be detected and then start the programming sequence automatically.
