Right, but what about programming? I don't see it in the programmer.

Hello,
we are working on new release of our software programmer, and I will suggest our developers,
to take this microcontroller into consideration.
I hope that we will have support for this mcu soon as possible.
Best regards,
Losic Tihomir

Re: MB 4.0 Beta: Library compiler issue with 16F1938
Hi,
Has there been any progress on support for the 16F1938 with mikroProg suite?
I just downloaded the latest version (V2.26) having compiled a program in MikroBasicPro V5.61, but find that the programmer does not list this device.Do I need to get some supplementary software?
I am using an older development board (EasyPic4) with ICD and an even older Picflash2 with no ICD support, but unless there is some tie-up between programmer software and available options there appears to be no listing for these chips.
I would like to move from the 16F87x range to this newer version, but I want to stick with ME if I can.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,
Actually PIC16F1938 is supported by mirkoProg.
The thing is that PICFlash programmer and EasyPIC4 development board does not support enhanced series of PIC16F controllers.
In order to program them you will need mirkOprog programmer or EasyPIC v7 development board.

Best regards.
