mikroC Pro Debugging Issue

#1 Post by andreas89 » 27 May 2022 11:07

Hello all,

I've been trying to debug my project in mikroC using the CodeGrip for PIC but so far I am unsuccessful. My target board uses a PIC18, which according to the CodeGrip excel document for supported MCUs, is fully supported for both programming and debugging. When trying to program the MCU, i get an error message stating that the chip can not be erased and my board is not supported by selected vendor. If I flash the .hex file manually (using the codegrip suite) and then try to start the debugger I get an error message that it can not find the mikroElektronika ICD hardware. I've already tried to downgrade the programmer fw to v1.3 but still the issue persists.

Is there anyone with similar issues or maybe any guides from the admins on how to resolve this issue ?

Thank you

Hi,

Please, can you put the DLL file from the attachment to the installation folder of the compiler instead of the existing DLL file and see if it works for you.

Regards,
Filip.
