Hi, I am using mP for dspic and PIC24 (v5.70)and see the message "Saving COFF file failed" when trying to generate a coff file for a working project. Oddly, a COFF file is placed in the project directory (somewhat larger than the .hex file).

What could be the reason for this error message? Thanks in advance.

I can not publish the complete project. I will try to make a minimal project that shows the problem.
