IDE crash: Code folding

#1 Post by Richard Seton » 03 Apr 2009 15:45

Using the code folding feature causes the IDE to crash. There is no error or warning from Windows. The IDE just disappears.

It seems to take a fair amount of code to be folded before the crash. I couldn't come up with a simple example.

In my case, I start near the bottom of a source code file, fold a number of functions (5? 10?, 300 lines of code), then try to select a line of code above the folded stuff. The IDE just ups and goes away. No message no warning.

I've created a formal support request to mikroe, and supplied them with a sample code module. This is just a FYI, in case someone else runs into the problem.
