Backspace crashes IDE

#1 Post by W4GNS » 30 Jul 2010 07:57

I seem to be able to routinely crash the IDE by starting a new project and using the backspace to clear all characters on the page. I simply hold down the backspace and within 2 seconds MikroBasic AVR locks up and I have to use the x on top right of IDE to shutdown the compiler. And restart. Anyone else having or able to reproduce this crash ? I'm using XP Pro SP3 - MikroBasic AVR 3.2 Beta

Hello Gary,

unfortunately, this is the compiler bug, and I passed your project to our software developers in order to fix it.
It will be corrected, and it ready for the new release.
Thank you for pointing this, and sorry for this inconvenience.

Best regards,

That comment is the reason I love MikroE products so well, full support, no if ands or buts ! MikroE has the best support in the compiler field. I live my EasyPic and Easy AVR dev boards too :D Thanks Losic, I Look forward to a future update
