Implementing a multitasking-system

#1 Post by Stefanus » 06 Oct 2010 10:09

Would it be possible to implement a multitasking-system?

I know, that is not a little thing, but that is quality-sign (for MikroPascal) - and make it possible to programming without limits. I need it urgently.

Best Regards
Stefan

Search this forum for the term "RTOS".
I doubt there is one for mikroPascal and yes, it is very complicated to write one.

I have to second this one (applies to all Mikroe compilers). Even a cooperative-tasking system with the libraries supporting it would be a *huge* improvement.

The overwhelming majority of projects don't require full-blown preemptive multitasking, and most perhaps no tasking at all, but a good many would benefit greatly from cooperative yet authentic multitasking.

Hello,

I agree with you.

And maybe it will be on our future road map.

Best regards.
