Click On View Assembly (Icon) Shows Wrong File

#1 Post by pykedgew » 13 Dec 2008 00:33

Hi mE Team

When clicking on either Icon or menu "View Assembly" in this Beta version.
The IDE display the "*****.lst" instead of the "*****.asm".

It is intentional. The ASM file does not contain all the relevant information anymore, so we judge that it is beeter to show the LST file which is complete and more informational.

Thanks for the report.

Hi mE

I am just a little bit worried about this.
As this may confuse other fellow programmers in the future.
Could the icon or the pull down menu name be change?
Or should the actual *.asm filename be swap with *.lst?
Then maybe an explanation be mentioned in the Help file.

There is no need for drama.

We can add both icons, for asm and lst files. This may be the best compromise.

That sound fine to me.
