A bootloader

I wish there was a bootloader function.

Writing this myself is quite above my head as I am not a realy advanced programmer :(

Hi,
For now we are not providing a bootloader example with AVR compilers. But we have this in mind, perhaps, for the future. You could analyze our existing PIC bootloaders, and do some research how to do it for AVR. Try making a topic here on forum, and I'm sure somebody will help you out.

in the wish ;ist or in the "general AVR" section where incidentaly I have posted this same question.

I found that there are some squeleton of appropriate code in an application note on the Atmel site.
There is also a tutorial on the AVRfreaks forum, which I only looked into it on the surface.
It seems quite complex :cry:
