Version upgrade

Version upgrade

Version upgrades should be "allowed" and should retain all of your(MY) previous customization settings. At present I had to completely uninstall (or at least were TOLD to do that by the install program) and lost every configuration that I had set up. It removed EVERYTHING - the subdirectories I had setup, the files I had modified, my settings.... EVERYTHING.

That's just NOT right :-(.
Just don't overwrite existing 'configuration files' (unless they're not compatible) and don't delete files that don't match the 'install files'. :)

This is actually a problem in the setup program for all our compilers. We've had complaints about this in the past and certainly we will work on improving it.
