HID terminal, send formatting

It would be helpful if both HID terminal and UART Communication Terminal had, in addition to send as number (decimal), an option to send as hex or binary. Some command protocols are bit based or mapped to registers. Perhaps an integration with the Converter tab in the IDE would make sense, as that would allow easier management of word sized messages.
