Hi,

I don't know if this has already been addressed ... but the current "tabbing" system drives me a bit nuts. Maybe other people like it, but it's just not what I'm used to. It's a not a big deal, but it does waste time with formatting.

It would be nice that if when the tab key is pressed, the current keystroke postion advances to to the next column which is a multiple of 4. And when the enter key is pressed, the keystoke position is advances to the next line with the starting column the same as the previous line. And of course a tab would be a tab, and not four spaces, thus backspacing a tab would move the keystoke position to the previous column which is a multiple of four.

Go to Tools->Options then click on "Open Options Dialog". When the dialog pops up, click on "Options" tab and try to play with options such as "Smart tabs" and "Tab width". It should solve your problem.
