path/link to documentation

#1 Post by jpc » 11 Jun 2008 10:02

it would be nice if we could store a path to datasheet for each device , working on different projects quite often requires looking at datasheet ( actually this cannot be encouraged enough) and it would be very convenient if i could simply click on datasheet icon to get access. in case there is empty path the feature should allow to find the datasheet and remember the path for the future.

Hi,

as you can see in our mikroC compiler for 8051, there is already an option to add header files, binaries, images....
This kind of IDE is set for the next releases of our compilers for PIC family MCUs.
We will put this on our to do list (adding URL in projects)

Thanks for the helpful input

ok , thenks for that. The major difference is that the new IDE offers this elegant solution for adding documents to a project but datasheet are a function of the chosen device , not related to the project as such.
