Assembler / Linker

#1 Post by excessor » 11 Aug 2018 17:57

I am primarily using the Atmel (microchip) AT 89 S 8253. I write only in assembly.

I am using the Moravia Microsystems MCU 8051 IDE c1.4.10 assembler and the 8051Flash
Programmer (v2.10)..

This all works well, but is there a better assembler / linker available? The Keil solution is
just too expensive. Does the MikroCPRO for 8051 handle assembler well?

I have developed a library of 8051 routines for the AT89S8253 and would like to find the
best (affordable) tools to manage them.

Thanks for any help.

Hi,
mikroC can handle assembly instructions,
You can download the demo version of mikroC for 8051 and see if it suits your needs.

Kind regards,
