Ethernet connection problem

Hello guys!

I have some device with dsPIC33 and ENC28J60. I using SPI Ethernet library. If I connect this device directly to PC, then communication is not work. But there are no problems if I making connect by a switch.

What the problem may be with directly connection, please?

Hi,

For connecting directly to PC use ethernet crossover cable.
