Both the lowest and highest real values are not correctly represented.

Any real number with exponent larger than 13 is not displayed at all. If one types in the number in Microchip format, then nothing greater than FE7FFFFF is displayed.

Nubers in Microchip format with exponent byte 00 are, by definition, equal to 0. In the convertor one may see such values interpreted as nonzero. One may also see that 01 00 00 00 is grater than 02 00 00 00 .
