Auto-Indent

#1 Post by CGEngineering » 06 Jul 2007 15:31

Hi, i'm new of the beta-testing section

i think that the editor will be more practical if there will be inserted a auto-indent feature, or an assistant for indenting.

Expecially, it would be really useful that selecting more than 1 line and pressing TAB key, editor will tabulate every line. In addition, selecting 1 line or more and pressing SHIFT+TAB key, editor will back-tabulate every line.

This is what CCS PCWH editor does, and it is really really useful

Regards

Welcome !

There is an auto-indent feature in editor, did you have a look at :
Tools -> Options -> Editor -> Open options dialog -> Options
"auto indent" must be checked

I do agree with you for tab and back-tab a block of lines :arrow: very usesul
:!: already works with mikroBasic :( but not with mC

@mE team :
:?: is it possible editor preferences not to be reseted to factory defaults by new release installation ?
:cry: poor of us beta-testers, must touch it every new beta :wink:
