When I try to close MBv5.1 I always get a error message
"Access Violation ant adress 00000073Read address 00000073 and the Program fails ato close.I have to force windows to close it using the tack manager.
MB5.1 read address error
I am also getting some severe lockups with messages. One of them is severe enough that I can't close the program, except to force it closed through Windows Task Manager. I will start posting the errors that occur.
Here is the first one today. This occurred for a simple compile at the end of the compile. It cleared by pressing OK, but recurs at every attempt to compile near the end of the compile process:
Now when I close mikroBASIC after this error this is the other message that occurs:
After closing and reopening the same project it will compile okay.

I am now watching for a pattern. One thing I have noticed lately while working with mikroBASIC and having several other programs open, is that my CPU is running at 100% (I can hear it because my CPU fans kick in at high speed because of the heat) and the computer begins to slow down. I haven't pinned down exactly why this is happening, but it generally kicks in if I let the debugger step into the end of the program and it begins its free-running mode. I can stop the debugger but my computer seems not to recover very well. This is often when the other problems with the messages begin to occur as I work with the compiler.
I will try to be more specific if I can reproduce it, or possibly remember my steps to doom when the event occurs.
