Necto 1.3 update issues

#1 Post by Cobalt » 09 Oct 2020 12:10

In reference to my last post about Necto:

The old documentation was located in /.Mikroe/NectoStudio/libs/mikroC legacy PIC/Help/doc, and now it is in /.Mikroe/NectoStudio/mikrosdk/v7.6.0/mikroC PRO for PIC Libraries/Help/doc/
The problem is that all of the *.htm files that explain the library functions are copies of the ARM libraries, not the PIC libraries. Is there another help file / documentation that I'm overlooking, or was this simply an error with the release?
The included library help files are still the ARM documents, this still isn't fixed.

Also, now with Necto 1.3, when I try to make a new project, Necto completely crashes. I'll load Necto, go to create a new project, and after selecting a directory for the project and clicking next, the IDE crashes and disappears.
I'm using Linux, Ubuntu x64 20.04.1
I'm not looking for a fix to the crashing, its feedback for you all to check out.

Crashing on attempting to make a new project no longer happens.

However the library files are still ARM copies.

Hi,

We will fix the documentation issue, you can always refer to the online version :
https://help.mikroe.com/legacy/pic/index.htm

As for the project creation problem, if you run into this again please inform me.

Regards,
Filip.
