Cannot Search Text in *.avrs

#1 Post by pykedgew » 01 Apr 2007 10:07

Hi

Normally we do not have the AVRS file show up in our compiler.
But I do. Just open any *.avrs in the compiler.
Problem is with the text colour is in red for most of the asm code.
Try to do a search on a key word in red & it return the first one & none in the rest of the listing.

If you copy & paste to Notepad, you have no problem in searching the text.

Can this be a bug ?

Pity, I cannot or able to show the picture.
Unless someone knows a web site for free just to put an image on that site & can be link from here.

Regards
Ken

Sorry for the trouble, but it seems we will have to disable syntax highlighting for files other than .apas. It will probably solve the problem.

Hi zristic

Thanks for your attention.
Your syntax highlighting in the normal *.apas is great.

Yes, the version was out prematurely due to an abnormal pressure from some users. Sorry for that, if it will help you may complain to bestmilan and to his 4 aliases he uses on this forum.

kukan,
your friend is going beyond what we are here for. He really annoys developers and puts a lot of pressure on them. Occasionally he writes emails with bad words and swearings and he writes them to multiple email addresses. He has been warned about it, but he continues to do it. Finally, this forum is not a place where others should read about it all, so we temporarily prevented him from using the forum, until he cools off. After the weekend he will be allowed to participate in forum again, but he should be aware that he has received a yellow card.

As for the bugs, none is hiding them, we even solved most of the problems that bestmilan has pointed to, being happy that someone has discovered such problems at all. It is just a wrong attitude that bestmilan shows and we do not want tio know about it at all.

Thanks for understanding.
Zoran.
