Confusion with EasyAVR3 programming

I am confused with the programming aspect of this board. The manual says there should be a file called AVRProg.exe on the CD - I cannot find a file with this name anywhere. Closest is AVRFLASH v2.07 so I load this.

Driver for board loads OK but when I try to write code to board using AVRFLASH the following error occurs :

[b]Cannot synchronize device with programmer[/b]

If I click OK it tells me:

[b]There are no differences[/b]
[b]Verification SUCCESS![/b]

But I do not have success.

Please help, this is pretty frustrating and confusing.
