mikroPascal for AVR 0.8ß

#1 Post by commander_zod » 09 Oct 2008 09:01

Hi mE team,

just got EasyAvr5A bundled with mP for AVR. First of all the hardware is vanilla, congrats.

Expecting no probs due to compiler v4+ I just ran into irritating limitations and more bugs than in your kitchen sink, not to tell about the performance of the code generated. Furthermore, the documentation seems to be an unrevised conglomeration from any version ever released.

Well, just being a stupid developer, I managed to run an example from your ethernet library just to find it COMPLETELY USELESS, due to limitations to single packets, missing sockets, rudimentary functions and undocumented precompiled libraries. What the heck, did I pay valuable $$ to develop a working TCP/IP stack from the scratch? Perhaps, the version I got was most likely a 0.8beta you guys found behind a dusty book shelf :-))

So, are there any chances to get a working TCP/IP stack with the new release promised since... err... 2006? ;-)
