How to use XRAM?

#1 Post by fl » 21 Dec 2006 12:51

Hi,

how can I tell the compiler there is XRAM available in my circuit and how can I use it? I found the absolute keyword to access a static memory position, but there should be a way to use the XRAM with local variables for example!?

Would it be possible, that you, from the mikroElektronika team, post a reply, even if the answer to our (your customers) problems is "NO"?

I'ts frustrating if someone asks a question and that question remains suspended in thin air, without any reaction from you.

You're doing a great job. Really. But u have to learn that even a "NO, FOR THE MOMENT IT'S NOT POSSIBLE" is a great, and expected answer.

Thank's again for your great job,

Well, I'm also a bit disappointed that ME doesn't respond to this simple and basic question. Maybe the AVR-branch of the compiler is less important for ME? AVR is two major versions behind PIC and there seems to be much more engagement in the PIC-Pascal forum than here...
