Hi,
Is there any place I could download older version of CodeGrip Suite? I updated to the latest 1.7.0 and can't program anything since the, always get "connection to target failed".
It would be nice if there were publicly available so we could self-serve when there are issues with new firmware.
If I could get access to v1.6.7 (2023-10-11) and v1.6.8 (2024-01-25) that would help.
Thanks
Dominic
Older version of CodeGrip
Re: Older version of CodeGrip
Hi Dominic,
Could you share a bit more information about the chip detection issue?
1. Are you using a standalone programmer or a development system, and which one?
2. Which microcontrollers have you tried to detect?
3. What are your configured connection options for the target?
Currently, there is no publicly available installer for version 1.6.8. However, the Codegrip 1.6.0 installation is located in the NectoStudio folder.
To revert Codegrip to version 1.6.0, you can follow the following procedure:
1. Disconnect from the internet
2. Uninstall CODEGRIP Suite 1.7.0.
3. Install version 1.6.0 from the Necto Studio folder.
4. Downgrade firmware
5. Reconnect to the Internet.
Thanks

Re: Older version of CodeGrip
Version 1.7.0 turned out to be clumsy. Unfortunately, MokroE does not want to delete this faulty version and revert to the previous one.
I will add to the order of returning to the previous version:
I will add to the order of returning to the previous version:
- Necessarily disconnect Internet while reinstall CodeGrip suite, else installer download and install 1.7.0 again.
- Use USB connection for CodeGrip
- After reinstalling CodeGrip Suite, it is necessary to downgrade the firmware to a version lower than 1.7.0, if you have managed to update the firmware. Most likely, CodeGrip will offer you the firmware version 1.6.5.
- Restart the programmer again
- In CodeGrip Suite go to CODEGRIP->Configuration and click [STORE CONFIGURATION].

Re: Older version of CodeGrip
Hi,
Version 1.7.0 will not work with Mikro PRO compilers, CODEGRIP stopped being supported by Mikro PRO compilers some even before 1.7.0.
using CODEGRIP on its own or with Necto Studio should work fine.
Of course, if anyone experiences any issues they are encouraged to post a ticket or ask for help on the forums.
Regards,
Ivan.
