How to use CODEGRIP for PIC automatically?

#1 Post by samimaisniemi » 18 Nov 2021 20:29

I have built a simple test robot, which is able to test several boards. The test robot creates electrical connection to a board with pogo pings and uses stepper motors to move between boards.

I would like to use the same robot also to program MCUs. However, I cannot find any information if it is possible to use CODEGRIP with another program. Is it possible to use CODEGRIP automatically?

I would need to start flashing and wait until verification has been passed and then repeat this process as many times as needed. I have seen commercial programming robots and therefore it should be possible. However, I am not sure if that is possible in case of CODEGRIP.

Hi,

Currently this kind of operation is not supported by the CODEGRIP.

We have in plans to introduce CODEGRIP command line interface so you can call it from an external application.

Regards,
Filip.
