dsPIC Compiler corrupt project Files

#1 Post by p.erasmus » 30 Nov 2009 17:13

Dear Mikro Team
I get a very strange behaviour from the dsPIC Basic Compiler ,
When I start a new project and start to write code it works fine ,I can Compile program and run the debugger (Ctrl+F11 ,F9 ) all works ,then as the code grows at some stage I can compile but I can not start the debugger or program the device
also the statistics icon in the IDE Menu bar disappers
I then copy to my other Note book with win XP and there also it does not work ,once this happens the project is corrupted and you have to make a new project to get the debugger and programer to work again ,however the files from the old project if you include any one of them then the new project also the debugger and programmer stop to work,
I have now deinstalled and installed the compiler 3 times this does not help
I also have posted a direct support ticket to the support desk
this occurs with Vista and XP it is not operating system dependant it looks to me
