Where to get the undocumented commands

#1 Post by jaws369 » 06 Feb 2006 13:17

In learning this new application and hardware there are a number of commands that are in the forums and the examples, but not in the syntax help. :o eg TRISB, ADPCFG, PORTC, etc.....

Most of you know these and take them for granted. I have searched for the exact meaning and syntax of all the commands that setup the hardware correctly but I haven't found it. As I have experimented I have started learning what the purpose behind them are, but would like to know exactly. Also, if these are here, there must be others that I don't know that will be required for more advanced applications.

:?: Is there a reference that anyone can recommend that would fill this information gap for the dsPIC newbie?

Thanks in advance.
Ok, who let the smoke out of this....?

Nice. I obviously had the datasheet for my dsPIC, but in programming the darn PIC, I had tunnel vision on the commands so completely forgot about that resource.

Thanks for the help.
