Program pic 44 pins SMD

#1 Post by Mikeekim » 04 Mar 2019 11:57

Hi.
The way to program a 18F45K22 IP/T 44 pins SMD is the same to program 18F45K22 40 pins I/P?
Just need an adapter from 40 to 44 pins like this of the image?

If not, how i need to proceed?
Where i can found info about?
thx.

Hello,

Probably both MCUs are programming in the same way. You need to have a programmer for PIC and connect it with MCU using these lines:
VCC, GND, MCLR, PGC and PGD.

Unfortunately, we don't have PIC18F45K22 MCU with 44 pins, so I recommend you to contact Microchip company for more details.

Kind regards,
Jovana

Hi.
I purchased this from Official Distributor.
Then this MCU is a fake?

Hi,

On the following link, you can see the list of our distributors:
https://www.mikroe.com/distributors
As you can see, the Newark company is not our distributors.

I recommend you to contact Microchip company.

Kind regards,
Jovana

From mikroe
https://www.microchip.com/stellent/grou ... 547043.pdf

page 5, figure 5, and page 533

Is not my intention to annoy you but in mikroe's official datasheet 18F45K22 chip it's explained on the earlier mentioned page.
Newark is Farnell, official distributor of microchip.

https://es.farnell.com/
just change country of farnell Europe to EEUU and you go to newark

Hello,

Could you explain what you mean by "mikroe's official datasheet"?
That isn't our datasheet, it's a Microchip's document along with the PIC18F45K22 MCU.
We've never worked with that MCU in a 44 pin TQFP package, therefore, I can't give you reliable information. That's why I suggested you contact Microchip, as they will be able to provide you with better information.

Kind regards,
Jovana

Ahh damm, i understand now, microchip and mikroe are 2 different companys.

Then mikroe dont manufacture no one mcu, all mcu's are from microchip.

Omg, why you say me that mikroe dont have 44 pins mcu?
Mikroe dont have 44 pins, neither 40, 20 or any other quantity, just microchip have pic mcu's.
Mikroe is a reseller.
Thx for the help.
