Virtual Comm Port PIC18F4550 dont work in Win8 and Win10

Hi I have the demo program VCP Demo working in Windows 7 fine but now my PC has been upgraded to windows 10 it now seems the Virtual Comport example no longer works.
First thing I noticed is "VCP Demo" is no longer in device manager just "USB Serial Port(COM2)" once I point this to the driver folder the driver says it loads fine and device manager now shows "Mikro Vitual Com Port(COM2)"
Problem now is when I run USART terminal the com port dose not show I also tried putty.exe and it also failed to connect.
Seems there something different with windows 8 and 10 is there any fix to resolve this problem

Hi Aleksa,
I tried disabling the driver signature option as suggested in the URL but to no avail I still have the same problem. According to Device manager the driver is loaded but the USART Terminal dose not show the relevant com port associated with the driver please see the two JPG attachments.
I also resigned the INF file for all version of windows see attachment using DDK kit for window 10 I have supplied a text file showing how I signed the INF file for anyone else that may need to do this and for your reference.

Hi Aleksa,
I am using the standard package that is supplied with the MikroElektronika USB library version 1.2.1.0 from LibStock I have made no modifications to the code and I'm using the PIC18F4550 Virtual COM port package also my OS is windows 10 pro. Works perfect when used with windows 7 ultimate.

Hi,

There seems to be a problem with our USART terminal, I've forwarded this information to our development team.
By using another terminal I've managed to get the example working on Win 10.
I advise you to try the same, in the meantime we will get our terminal working.
