as other say "wait .. and wait .. and wait " ..
just 16 months since the first request !

then just 1year, on october 16 : 'We are seriously considering adding this library.' ...
what if they don't serisously consider it :shock:

Hi,

I am sorry if you don't find that we treat you request seriously enough.

The user library requests are handled by the priorites determined by the developers and their schedule.

The MQTT library seems solidly complex, therefore some major work should be done for its development.
As this is a time consuming task, I cannot really promise any dates, but I will inform you on time.

Better switch to arduino an MQTT library is available since some years https://github.com/knolleary/pubsubclient

I know this request has been under review for a while, but I just wanted to add that a mature MQTT/S library supporting X.509 client certificate auth and TLS for MikroC ARM is a requirement for this platform to gain traction within my organization. I understand that it is not a simple request and appreciate your consideration.

Is this even planed? It's the year 2021 and I'm afraid that protocol will be outdated before you will be able to implemented it.
