Hi,
I have a board easyPIC v7 that works with my "old computer" so the easyPIC v7 is 100% OK
with the new computer - asus - I get the message " Mikro Prog Firmware v2.11 - driver unavailable
I already erased and reloaded/installed/restarted computer with the latest issue of MikroC and associated MikroProg drivers
the amber light led "Link" does not burn
windows repair kit confirms: missing drivers
What can I do ?
Thanks for your help - Bernard

Hi,
please do the following procedure:
1. Uninstall previous drivers.
2. Disable UAC(User Account Control Settings in Control Panel)
3. Restart your computer
4. Install the driver as administrator. That means Right click on the icon -> Run as administrator
Also uninstall mikroProg suite and install it as admin as well.
Do you have any windows language packs installed?
Regards,
Danilo

Re: Windows10/MikroProg Firmware v2.11 failure
Dear mikroElektronika team,
I've a problem that it is not detected the EasyPIC v7 development board by mikroprog suite programmer. I try the best with your suggestion post by reinstalling the software and test again and again. I found that it is not driver error. When I connect the board, the warning message is appeared. Pls, see the below.
download/file.php?mode=view&id=20697
and then I check show Device that shows on the tab of the mikroprog suite programmer. USB programmer device is empty. See the picture as follow.
download/file.php?mode=view&id=20698
I can’t also update firmware.
I try the another EasyPIC v7 board, it is Ok and running. I found the USB programmer Device when I check it.
download/file.php?mode=view&id=20699
So, I would like to know, is it device error? How can I solve it.
Looking forward for your suggestions.
