LCD Library problem

#1 Post by Alessandro Fulignani » 28 Aug 2019 15:20

Good Afternoon,

I'm testing the LCD library with a 16*2 LCD. The uC it's a MK22FN128VLL10.
During the application i need to change the MCU frequency. If i rise the frequency i can not comunicate anymore with the LCD.
It seem that insted of use the "busy bit read" you are using a software delay...
If this is the case, can you give me the delay variables name, so i can change it?
Can you provide to me the LCD library source so i can add the busy bit function?

Thank you,

Alex

Hello,

You are correct, there are software delays inside the library.
However, due to company's policy, I am unable to provide you with the source code of the library.

I apologize for the inconvenience.

Kind regards,
Filip Grujcic

Hello,

There are no plans for implementing this kind of library at the moment, mostly because our hardware has the R/W pin connected to GND directly.

I will, in any case, forward your request to our developers for consideration.

Kind regards,
Filip Grujcic
