ARM Mikrobasic V5.0

#1 Post by Alessandro Fulignani » 10 Mar 2017 10:47

Good Morning,

Here are some notes about the new software update:

1) The GUI is not yet optimized for W10. Sometimes it crashes or some parts are hidden.
2) There is a significant increase of Flash use to recompile the same source.
3) The TFT software is not included as indicated on the website MIKROBASIC.
4) The breakpoint advenced are still not working.
5) When debugging, if you have one or more hidden Proc Sub or Sub Func, the debugger windows get stuck or show a wrong behavior

Thank you!

Hi,

1) have you notice a specific situation when GUI crashes, something that can help me reproduce the issue.

2) can you send me the project so I can verify the increase of the flash.

3) VTFT is scheduled to be merged with ARM compiler right after our update of PIC32 compiler.

4) can you explain a litlle more what do you mean by this?

5) I've reported this issue to developers.

Regards,

Danilo

Hi Danilo,

Sorry for my delay to answer.

I found an old version (4.9.0) of uB in my HD, this afternoon i will try to compile the same program with the two different versions, then i will report to you.

Ciao,

Alessandro
