PDF files open in the editor instead of the reader
I have the habit of adding all documentationfiles to my projects, with the last version i can no longer open PDF files , in fact no file will be associated with its default application. Please fix this , is real mess!

Hi,
This should not be the problem related to our compiler.
You need to set up this in your operating system settings.
For changing this you should go right click on the file --> Open With --> Choose Program.
In this window select Adobe Reader or any desired program, also check box "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" (like on the picture in attachment).

there is no problem with my OS setup, the latest IDE V3.50 simply does not take this in account and opens whatever document in the texteditor. I have the same behaviour on 2 systems, after returning to V3.30 all is working ok again so please investigate this.

I apologize if you have had some difficulty with our compiler.
Unfortunately I can not reproduce the same behavior, nor have we had such a behavior before.

i know we had no such behaviour before, i double checked ( again on 2 pc's) but this problem reappears when i install the latest version V3.50 , back to V3.30 all is ok so it must be related to the IDE

this problem is back on my pc after installing V3.5.1, i see no other solution than to return to V3.30 which opens documents with their correct default application. Displaying a PDF or schematic as plain text in the editor is of little use to me!

Windows 7 , Family edition SP1, nothing unusual i would say

Can you please explain me how do you add all documents to the project?
I tried to add all documents by dragging them to the compiler , compiler opens them (some of them are not readable).
After closing, all of them were opened from their default programs (they have the same extension like before that).

after reinstalling the latest full downloadable version 6.6.1 this strange behaviour disappeared. I had the same odd behaviour with the last MP for P32 version on this PC so it must have been related to some Windows setting.

Thanks for sharing your problem. As for me, I have seldom tried to deal with that kind of problem before. Have you ever worked it out? I wonder whether you have any exprience about pdf extraction? process. Because there is something wrong with my pdf reader. I need convert pdf into text or other formats. Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
