Hi Piort,
all these DIP packaged versions are future products; They are not produced yet. I found them 1 week ago when I listed the PIC32 chips

MikroE will for sure support them as the core is the same MIPS core, so they need only to provide needed header files.

Anyway this is a nice move from Microchip. I think this was an answer to CORTEX-M0 chips. DIP packages will make those 32 bit chips very popular between hobbists (and thus future products makers).

This is a very good news, PIC32 power in a 28 pins DIP package oufff. Just wait for sample to be available :wink:

Meanwhile, I suggest you should consider using our MINI-32 board.
For only $25 you get entire mini-development board in DIP40 packaging,
which is pin-compatible with PIC16 and PIC18 chips.

Board contains powerful PIC32MX534F064H, which is much faster than PIC32MX1 and PIC32MX2 devices.
It also comes with bootloader, so you don't even have to buy an external programmer.
