MikroBootloader not work

Hi, help my please!


I have Mikromedia board for Pic32.
If run Mikroc Pro for Pic32, then mikrobootloader not detected device. (Windows device manager: Unknown device)
If close compiler, bootloader work correctly. (Windows device manager: HID USB Input Device)

I use Win7 hom 64bit.

What could by the problem?

Hello,

Did you try USB HID Bootloader tool directly from compiler, or mikromedia for PIC32 HID Bootloader from our website?

Can you send me screenshot which represents the problem?

Hi,

I installing "mikroc_pro_pic32_v333" pack, and use USB dongle licence.
I tried "mikroc_pro_pic32_v330", but not work correctly.

yesterday i delete (reinstall) usb roothub , check drivers, no match error...

If only close compiler, (bootloader run forward), and press MMB resett button, bootloader found USB HID device,
and connect...

Hello Gabor,

Is your USB devices attached to PC directly or via USB Hub?
You should try to connect directly your USB dongle and USB cable from mikromedia board to USB ports on your PC.

Can you try to reproduce the same problem, but without USB dongle (just demo version of compiler)?
Also can you try to reproduce the same problem on other PC?

On my old computer worked correctly.
Reinstall my new computer Win7 operating system, but not work correctly...

Is your mikromedia attached to USB 3.0. or USB 2.0?
You can try to reinstall USB drivers.

Hi team,

the problem is that since Windows 8.1, you can install ONLY drivers with signature.
All driver without Signature doesn't work and unfortunatly all drivers provided by MikroElektronika are without signature.

But it exist a temporarely workaround, follow this Microsoft solution to Disabled driver's signature verification :

In fact, the Workaround is :
1 - Desinstall all Mikroe Software and drivers too
2 - follow instruction provided by Microsoft just before
3 - Re-install all Software and it works, but don't reboot your computer, because signature verification are activated again after the next reboot.

Each time, you want use Mikroe Compilers (Pascal, C, Basic) you need again use this workaround until Mikroe follow drivers with signatures.

Please MikroElektronika : Provide us drivers with signature accepted by Microsoft !!!!!

Related to your observations about drivers without signature:
The new signed and fixed drivers are already on the website since September.

@bggabor

Did you manage to find solution of your problem?
