Hi,
Please, take a look at:
mikroC PRO for PIC32 -> Tools -> Options -> Editor Settings -> Advanced Editor Options
Display: Line spacing/ Tab spacing
Also you have Smart tabs and Smart tab delete options (Advanced Editor Options -> Options).
Did you experienced some problem with tabs in mikroC PRO for PIC32?
Best regards,
Marina

I'll second that, I get all kinds of weirdness happening with tabs. Sometimes they are big, sometimes they are small. I've tried changing the advanced options but it doesn't seem to make any difference.Like a normal ide, make tab work

Hi,
Please, can you explain me a little bit more where the problem occurs?
Did you try to disable "Smart tabs" and "Smart tab delete" options?
Tools -> Options -> Editor Settings -> Advanced Editor Settings -> Options

Re: Fix tabbing
Hi Marina,
I've found that disabling Smart tabs makes them all the same size, which is an improvement for sure.
Tabs are still turned into spaces though (though if you copy and paste code with tabs into the editor they behave like tabs). I'm done for the night now but when I'm back in the office tomorrow I'll check what settings I'm using and get back to you.
Cheers

Re: Fix tabbing
OK what I've also tried is disabling "Tabs to spaces". Doesn't seem to do anything.
Enabling "Want tabs" doesn't seem to do anything.
"Smart tab delete" deletes a tabs-worth of spaces at once, which is closer to what I'm used to.
But really tabs instead of multiple spaces is what I'm after. Any idea how I set this up?

Re: Fix tabbing
Hi,
I am very sorry for the inconvenience.
With disabling "Smart tabs" and "Smart tab delete" you can control tabs a little better,
like you already notice.
Also, you can adjust Extra lines and Tab width value (Line spacing/Tab spacing) in Editor Options.
Best regards,
Marina
