Mac OS X/Linux compiler/IDE

#1 Post by atq » 29 Aug 2012 21:57

Hi MikroElektronika team,

I have seen the topic coming up a few times over the last years, however, no timeline or more specific info than "we're looking at it" has been provided thus far (or I have missed it).

Are there any news on providing a compiler/IDE for Mac OS X and/or Linux?

Are there any suggestions on increasing the priority of such projects?

Thx,
Alex.

PS: Thanks for the nice boards you guys design and make available to the public. I recently acquired a mini 32, and am quite pleased with them.

Hi,

Currently, all I can say is that this is on our wish list, but I cannot say nothing more than this.
We are aware that there are increasing number of customers that use Mac OS/Linux who would like our compilers ported to these platforms
and of course that we will do our best to make this possible as soon as we can.

Thank you for your kind words regarding our products, we are always happy to hear positive feedback from our customers. :)

Regards,
Filip.
