Bluetooth connection to an Apple app?

#1 Post by bugOnLine99 » 26 Mar 2019 02:17

Hello,

Is there a bluetooth click board (Kit) I can use
to connect to an iPhone’s Bluetooth ?

I am proposed to communicate with an
application made in iPhone using Xcode to
a PIC32.

Therefore I would need some guidance
on how to connect my MCUPic32 to a Bluetooth
Chip and have the Bluetooth chip communicate
with the application on the iPhone.

All help appreciated

Thanks

Hi,

Check out our BLE 3 Click board which is a quick and simple solution if you want to add Bluetooth Low Energy to your project. It features the NINA-B1 Bluetooth 4.2 module, from u-blox.
There are a few open-source examples for this click board available on the LibStock, but unfortunately, there is no example for PIC32 MCUs.
However, we are in the process of reworking libraries to the new mikroSDK standard, and all of our current click libraries and examples will be available in all of the languages that we support.

Kind regards,
Stefan Filipović
