I believe in Mileta and the Mikroe-team.
They have just present the promise Programmer, the release is coming, too.

Re: Next release of Visual TFT
tssss,
Unfortunately I was disappointed from Mileta.

The times you specify, then it can not be maintained is very annoying for all the waiting.
If you leave out their for own projects and then shifts is very disappointed.
Should I now believe janko.kaljevic?

Re: Next release of Visual TFT
Hi Helmut,
Now I am afraid about my development.
I developed a product using Visual TFT and I am waiting a new version that it accept different controller then HX8347-D. I need a large LCD and I didnt find LCD with 3.5 or 4 inch with this controller.
I will put a small LCD for now, in my development and I am waiting this new version that everybody is waiting.

Re: Next release of Visual TFT
Hi P. W.,
may be this can help:
a 3.2" TFT with TP and HX8347-D at
http://www.display-elektronik.de/DEM240 ... -TOUCH.pdf
The signal assigntment at the FPC is a bit different & can be solved with a small (flexible) PCB.
Hope they will sell me a single peace for testing.
A FPC-connector that will fit (hopefully) should be
http://search.digikey.com/scripts/dksea ... c_ev=click
So there is no need to solder the display.

Re: Next release of Visual TFT
Hello,
New version of VisualTFT Tool is in final phase of testing, and will be released during next week. We were inspecting issues that were reported on VTFT 1.30, and solving them, so new version will be a big improvement.
Unfortunately, new release will not have support for new TFT drivers. Due to complexity of work, new TFT drivers will be implemented in near future. At this point, we can not tell how long it will take until we give support for new drivers or which drivers will be supported.
Thanks for understanding.
Regards.

Re: Next release of Visual TFT
Hi
Maybe the developers for VTFT can announce which driver & in which mode will be supported,
when they have made their decision. So we can have a look for some displays fitting our needs.

Hi Hurtz Hurty
You help a lot.
I am going to look for a web site that has it to buy.
I will wait in the future if I found a larger LCD with HX 8347-D or the ME has a new version of VTFT that support other driver.
Thank you very much

Re: Next release of Visual TFT
Hello Professor Wagner,
Can you tell me what you expect from Visual TFT to support bigger screen ??? As long as I know MikroElectronika don't develop graphic cards!!! If you look at the HX 8347-D datasheet, you will see it only support 320x240 displays. So don't try to find a BIG display with that resolution. Anyway bigger displays don't have any controller they are controlled directly by a graphical module inside a CPU. Microchip have a serie with a graphic controller (DA210) but you won't go very larger, 4,3" 480x272@16bits resolution it can go up to 640x480 but only 8 bits per pixel. If you want bigger screen you need to go to another platform like ARM9 or 11. So even if Mikroe add more controller to Visual TFT you will never go bigger with PIC or AVR.
The other choices you have is to use an existing computer LCD screen and develop a VGA library, or even better buy yourself a cheap Android tablet from Ebay and start developping on this platform.
