Dear All,
I would be thankful if anyone can assist me with the following issue.
I am having problems displaying the example .hex files on the TFT display. The only .hex file that seems to work on the display is the original image of the leopard/cat. The other relevent example files like tft.hex have no influence, all which appears is the TFT backlight.. Only the original leopard-image can be successfully displayed on the TFT.
Thanks,
Otay.

Re: easyTFT display problem with ARM STM 32
Hi,
My EasyMx PRO for STM32 board is exactly as found in: http://www.mikroe.com/easymx-i pro/stm32/, with microcontroller STM32F107VCT6 (the image size with any reasonable detail would always exceed the maximum uploadable file-size). Since I opened it newly-boxed last week, I have been facing the same problem with the TFT?... even using the examples from the product DVD or compiler DVD... nothing (other than the original image) works when loading and writing the example .hex files as for the TFT examples.
Please advise?
Thanks..
Otay.

Hi,
I know what is the general look of the whole board, I will be needing the detailed photo of the EasyTFT board so I could see any labels written on it
Thank you for the understanding.

.. I have divided the detailed photo into three parts to fit with the maximum upload limit (256kB).. please provide email for a more detailed version if needed...
I hope that this can clarify things....
Please advise...

Re: easyTFT display problem with ARM STM 32
I am having the exact same problem, same board, using both STM32F107VCT6 and STM32F407VGT6. None of the sample TFT code will work. Compiles and uploads fine, but nothing will display on TFT. I suspect from other previous posts it is related to the __Lib_TFT_Defs.c file, but I have tried swapping that for various versions with no luck. Please help, need the TFT to work for my project !

Re: easyTFT display problem with ARM STM 32
I am having exact same issue with same board. Tried both STM32F107VCT6 and STMF407VGT6 MCU's, as well as a Mikromedia M4 board with STM32F407VGT6. None of them will run any of the sample TFT programs like simple maze or calculator. Help !

Hi,
@otay,
Please find the EasyMx PRO v7 for STM32 ARM examples in the attachment.
Also, please place the __Lib_TFT_Defs.c in the \Uses\ST M3\ folder of the compiler (replace the existing file).
@jasonworley,
I believe I have answered you on our Support Desk.
Regards,
Filip.

Re: easyTFT display problem with ARM STM 32
Dear All;
When we use the VisualTFT code-generating software with VisualTFT USB to produce and display images on the tft, we find that it has no affect once we generate the C-code and write the newly generated .hex file onto the microcontroller....
I suspect that this is related to the previous problem of displaying the easyMX_pro_STM32-example files for TFT, which was solved by using your updated zip file ("EasyMX PROv7 for STM32 ARM.zip") containing working examples files.
I appreciate your assistance,,
Otay.

Hi,
Please update to the Visual TFT 3.60 and use EasyMx_PRO_v7_for_STM32_ARM_9A predefined hardware scheme.
