Timer A RTC functions

As I understand the Microchip literature, all dsPIC MPUs have "timer A" designed to be optionally used in conjunction with a 32.768 kHZ crystal to form an internal RTC. A library of functions to set and read such an internal RTC, as well as to have interrupts on time alarm (interrupt at specific set times) would be very helpful.
If you know what you're doing, you're not learning anything.
